The lifestraw is real cool. what it does is it basically filters out %99.99 of bacteria from water meaning you can drink pretty much and water even pee. Below is a video or 2 show some people drink stuff from the lifestraw.

Today we had a magician came to school and did some cool magic tricks, they included making things disappear and appear. it was really cool and interesting I wonder how he does it.

Sup Future Me

Read this on the 12th of july 2026. If the world has not ended and been taken over by apes.

Yo was up future me, when I was 11 I wanted to be a plumber am I plumber? If not probably good reason, have I published a book yet if not do it. Have you got a drivers licence if not you are stupid. If so is my car a blue car or a red car? Am I still as cool as I am now probably. Am I still into video games, has the ps6 been released yet, as i'm writing this zombie chronicles hasn't come out yet. Is the infinite warfare zombies as bad as I think it is.

Family Fun Night

Last night we had the family fun night.  The people there were Me (of course) my mum and dad  and my sister Hayley and her boyfriend Kamen. Even my dog Toby and Hayleys dog Bella joined in. First we started the night with having takeaways, then we got into the games.

To make it more fun we wore onesies and Dad borrowed my squirtle onesie.

First thing we did was play family feud and we had some treats.

Next we played just dance 2017 and here are some photos and videos of us playing just dance.

And finally we finished off the night with... pieface!!

Hawkes Bay Visits

In Hawke's Bay there are a lot of cool places to visit here are a couple that we went to.

                                                  Arataki Honey Farm

Today we went to the Arataki Honey Farm in Havelock North and it was really fun.

Things we did: We first checked out the massive bee model. Then we watched the short film about bees. After that we went to best part the honey eating place (my fav) p.s I also caught a bellsprout there too. There was also cool displays.

Why you should visit: I think it's a really good place for a rainy day and it's open 7 days a week. It's free to get in and you can taste honey for free and also buy honey. You can learn how they make honey and the outside looks really cool.

         The National Aquarium Of New Zealand

We also visited The National Aquarium Of New Zealand in Napier

Things we did: we went the aquarium and looked at lots of fish and learnt a lot about shells by the displays. They don't just have fish though they also have turtles, Alligators, Kiwis and Penguins

                             

My Hero

Dear Nolan North

I am writing to you because you are my hero, the reason you are is because you have done so much cool voice acting over the years. some of my favorites are: Nathen Drake, Richtofen, Desmond miles and The Penguin in the Arkham City games. If I could be a voice actor like you I would be in Call of duty, Battlefield and Far Cry. There are so many voices you've done over the years and it would take years to list them all. Right now I am at the part of uncharted 2 where Nate, Flynn and Chloe are breaking into the museum. I want to save up enough money to get uncharted 3 because of the amazing levels including the cargo plane. I don't have uncharted 4 but if I did I would have pre-ordered the dlc with Chloe in it.

Redskin Writing

This week in room 11 we have had to write a piece of persuasion writing about why Mr Billings should buy us redskins and here is my writing.

Back in the 70’s kids used to earn money by delivering the paper or selling cookies, but nowadays kids are too lazy to do stuff like that so we can't afford any redskins, so mr B can you give us redskins as rewards for doing good work like this (cough) (cough).

If you buy us some redskins we will be as hyped as a monkey who has eaten jelly beans for the first time, every time you look at us we will be going crazy at doing our work we will have a 4 billion page essay done in 5 minutes if feed us redskins.

 

Redskins should be given out to the whole class if they are being good, and I know what you are thinking Mr Billings, “how can my the bag last more than 5 hours because of my addiction if I have to give them out”  I think that you can put them out of reach and only with a student on your head can you reach. (hopefully you are thinking that Ben should be given a 1000 dollars for this awesomes work.)

My conclusion is that we need redskins and if you don't get the point already then read this twenty times and if you don't get the point do read it again forty times and ect.

FEVER

FEVER by Renata Ropkins
In room 11 we had to read a scary book called FEVER its about a girl named carly and her fear of ghosts. in the story she has to go to a farm and while shes there she gets a fever (hint hint)
and has to wait in a medical bed by herself and then a ghost appears but the ghost is friendly and she gets to go home. The book has lots of scary photos in it. If I have to rate it ill give it a 4/10 now if youll excuse me ill go have nightmares now.

Innovation

Last week in room 11 we had to do a task about inventors and how they have changed the world. The options we had were that we could: do a play or do a slide. We got into small groups of four and got working. After the five minutes we had to research and work we found out we had to do it in 60 seconds 6 times. Here is the slide that I made. 

Clause

Today in room 11 we were doing embedded clauses, an embedded clause is where you add more description to a sentence here are some of mine.

1. The sock, who ate pineapples, screamed.
2. The crack, who was lonely, cried.
3. The bread, who was blue, was mouldy.
4. The witch, who had orange eyebrows, was funny.
5. The orange, who was brown, dabbed.

Character Writing Descripion

Its was a cold winter morning and we pulled up into the driveway. "Come in come in" she said as she welcomed us into her garden. "Give me a yell when you've found the right one for you" she hollered at us. As soon as we saw him we knew he was the right one.

As his little legs ran through the tall grass he chased his sister. he chased his ball across the floor while he was being chased by his brothers as we drove off he looked out the back window of the car looking at the house he used to live in.

His little brown eyes sparkled in the sun and his brown ear flopped over one off his eye his black nose was attached to his white mouth. His white whiskers dangled from the side off his  jaw his teeth were sharp.

 His little chubby body with brown spots covered with white fur and little white legs with a long fluffy white tail ran through the grass.

As we got home we had a range off toys for him the play with and a beanbag with a red blanket he walked around the house multiple times to get familiar with his surroundings. The first few nights were him getting used to his surroundings and figuring out where to pee and sleep but after that he was used to the house

The first photos of him where me and him sitting on the wet grass in the garden the next was off me and him cuddling on the sofa then the most recent one of me holding him up to the camera at age 5.

Recently in room 11 we have finished reading a book called "there's a boy in the girls bathroom" it's a weird title I know, but its really funny it's about a boy called bradley chalkers who's a bully and the new kid called jeff fishgon who is really nice and I won't spoil the rest. anyway we had to do what bradley looked and acted like before and after the book and you can read about it below.

  ANGRY

I pushed the throttle up to full speed a wide grin spread across my face, the finish line was in sight, then david came out of nowhere and sped past, my smile turned to a frown.
”I was meant to win that race”I said as I walked away angrily with my teeth clenched. My dad tried to stop me but I kept walking.

HAPPINESS

As we ran towards the playground we where giggling and laughing. “last one on the playground is it” we yelled with smiles stretched across our faces. Our hair blowing in the wind our eyes wide open with happiness.

LAZY

As I reached into the bag my heart stopped. I looked into the bag… it was empty.

NOOOOOO!!!!! I yelled at the top off my lungs. Mum ran into the room “what's wrong” she said I held up the empty bag. “what am I looking at here” she asked I shook the bag but she didn't get the picture. She turned around and went back to cleaning the oven.

House design

Last week in room 11 we had to design a house (not a real one) and figure out the measurements like area and perimeter. Making the house was the easy part but figuring out the measurements was a whole other level and if you didn't complete it you had to stay in at lunchtime. thankfully I finished it in time here is a picture. (p.s sorry if the quality is potato.)

The Most Evil Man In The World (Character Description)

In room 11 we have been learning about inferring, so we have been making character descriptions so I have made the most evil man in the world!. Read about him below if you dare.

Their once lived a man who was said to be the most evil man in the world. His name was Uncle Vernon that's what is says on his birth certificate and he is not an uncle. This is what he likes to in public.

On saturday mornings uncle vernon goes to the beach, but not to go fishing. He goes to the beach to drown fishes. What he does is get in his old rusty boat and set sail until he's 30 minutes away from the shore. Then he reaches down into the ocean and grabs a fish out of the water and dumps it back in he sits there for 2 minutes before the fish becomes smarter than him and plays dead.

The other thing he does is go down to the ice cream shop but not to buy ice cream he finds a child (preferably aged 3-5.) then hocks a loogy in their ice cream. He loves it even better if they cry, he usually comes home with a black eye because the parents got angry.

He usually wears a white stained tank top with black shorts with a weird orange stain on it and socks with sandals. When he goes fishing he sometimes wears a raggy hat with a big hole in it so there's a big sunburn on his bald head. He has a massive nose which almost sits on his lip. The last time anyone saw him smile was in 1978 and it's 2017. Hes got a big hairy beard which falls down to his belly button, he also has red eyes.

When he's at home he gets his togs on (which are really shorts) then goes into his pool. when he jumps in he pulls out his boxing gloves and starts punching the water smack! smack! smack. after he “swims” for half an hour he heads inside for his dinner. Speaking of dinner he doesn't eat most of it because he likes to watch game shows and when the team he votes for doesn't win he throws his dinner at the tv.

So that's what uncle vernon does every weekend and most weekdays so you better hope he's never your uncle.

Catapult

Lately we have been building catapults in room 11 and it may sound dangerous but they are not 20 feet big catapults they are only 37 cm long and 15 cm wide and we used them to destroy hil.. I mean we used them to measure how far different objects would go. we used 2 beads and 2 items of our choice. we shot each object 4 times. the blue bar is the first time,the orange bar was the second time, the yellow bar was the third and the green bar was 4th. my smallest measurement was when the stick went 6cm
